Three steps to your own company

From selection to signature in a few days

1

You choose a company

From our range of ready-made s.r.o. and a.s. companies you pick by date of incorporation, business activities and VAT status. We advise which one fits your plan.

2

We handle the transfer

We prepare the documents, the transfer takes place at a notary and we file the change of director and shareholder in the Commercial Register. You can sign anywhere in Slovakia.

3

You start right away

The company is yours and operational — invoice, open a bank account, launch your business. We arrange the office, accounting and first tax duties with you.

Why buy a company through us

We don't compete on price.
You get service on a higher level.

You are not buying just a registered company — you are buying certainty that it is clean, properly set up, and that someone who sees the bigger picture stands by you.

Debt-free company — guaranteed

Every company is vetted by a certified tax advisor. You take it over debt-free, with a clean tax and accounting history, not with someone else's liabilities.

We take it comprehensively

We go through what you didn't ask about — office, VAT, director's liability, business activities. We assess every case in context, not from a template.

Developers and law firms trust us

We work with real estate developers, law firms and accounting offices — we complement their services, we don't replace them. Hundreds of transferred companies stand behind us.

Individual approach

You don't just get a change in the register. The documents are prepared by lawyers and the companies are founded by attorneys too, so they are legally sound. We also cover the tax and practical context. The price is final.

Transfer process

The company transfer step by step

1

Reservation and selection

You pick a company and reserve it without obligation. We check your requirements and recommend the most suitable company.

2

Document preparation

We prepare share transfer agreements, resolutions and filings for the Commercial Register. Everything is reviewed by a specialist.

3

Signature and payment

You sign the documents (at our office, at yours, or at a notary) and pay the price. Payment is clear and agreed in advance, with no hidden items.

4

Registration in the Register

We file the change of shareholder and director. Once registered, the company is officially yours — you receive full documentation.

5

Launch and support

We arrange the office, accountant and bank account and help with the first tax duties. We remain available even after the transfer.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to what you deal with most often

Is a ready-made company really debt-free?
Yes. Every company is vetted by a certified tax advisor before it enters our range, and being debt-free is covered in the transfer contract. We give you access to the full accounting and tax history.
Is buying a ready-made company legal?
Yes, buying a ready-made company is entirely legal. Slovak law does not define the term “ready-made company” as a separate category, but it is not a special or prohibited legal form — it is an ordinary company (most often an s.r.o., a limited liability company) that was incorporated with the intention of later transferring it to a new owner. After the transfer it operates under exactly the same rules as any other company of the same type.
Did the ready-made company trade in the past?
About 99 % of the companies we offer are clean ready-made companies that have never carried out any real business or trading activity. Before the sale, only technical or administrative steps needed to prepare the company for transfer may have been taken — for example opening a bank account or registering for VAT. These steps are not business activity, only preparation of the company. We can document the history of a specific company before you buy it.
Does the ready-made company have paid-up registered capital?
Yes. Every ready-made s.r.o. we offer has registered capital of EUR 5,000, fully paid up. How this amount is settled on transfer can vary depending on the transaction: funds of EUR 5,000 can be handed over to you in cash against a handover protocol; the EUR 5,000 can remain in the company’s bank account and you pay it together with the purchase price; or, if the parties have mutual monetary claims of EUR 5,000, these can be set off without any cash changing hands. The company’s registered capital does not cease to exist and is not reduced — this is simply how the EUR 5,000 is settled between seller and buyer.
Does the ready-made company have a bank account?
Some of the companies we offer already have a bank account. If a particular company does not have one yet, we can arrange, for an additional fee, a service and assistance with opening it. The final decision on opening an account always rests with the bank — we cannot guarantee it ourselves, but we will guide you through the whole process.
On the day I sign the transfer documents, can I operate the company’s bank account?
On the signing day the company can already receive payments into its existing account. However, you usually cannot yet send payments or fully operate the account — first the changes concerning the company must be entered in the Commercial Register, and then the bank must change the persons authorised to operate the account and set up the new signing rights. You gain full access to the account only once the bank has processed these changes. The exact process and timing depend on the particular bank, so we cannot guarantee them.
How long does the transfer take?
We can prepare the documents within 24 hours. Signature and payment follow immediately, then we file the change in the Commercial Register. You can do business and invoice practically right after the transfer.
What is included and are there hidden fees?
The price is final and includes tax assessment, document preparation (our documents are prepared by lawyers), transfer and advice. No hidden fees. Additional services (office, accounting, bank account) are always agreed in advance.
Do I have to travel to sign?
No. You can sign anywhere in Slovakia — at our office, at your home or company, or at a notary in your town. If needed, we come to you.
Is a virtual registered office included in the price of a ready-made company?
No, a virtual registered office is not automatically included in the price of a ready-made company. We do, however, provide it as a separate service and can arrange it for you based on the current offer. See our virtual office →
Do you help after the purchase?
Yes. We help with the first tax duties, changes in the Commercial Register, the office, accounting and opening a bank account. We also communicate in English and Polish.
Can I buy a Slovak company without travelling to Slovakia?
Yes. The reservation, setting the company parameters, document preparation and payment are all done online. The only step you must do in person is having your signature on the share transfer agreement officially certified — and that can be arranged in your own country.
How do I sign the transfer documents if I am abroad?
You have three options: certify your signature at a Slovak embassy or consulate; or before a local notary, followed by an apostille (or superlegalisation) and a sworn translation into Slovak; or sign in person in Slovakia. For some transfers we can also arrange to travel to you.
Can a foreigner own and run a Slovak s.r.o.?
Anyone can be a shareholder (owner), regardless of nationality or residence. An EU or OECD national can become the director directly; a third-country national only after obtaining Slovak residence — until then they can act as a shareholder or appoint a local director.
What documents do you need from me for the transfer?
An ID or passport of the future shareholders and directors, an address, the intended company name and business activities. For the director, also a criminal record extract (with apostille and sworn translation if issued abroad). If the buyer is a company, an apostilled extract from its register with a translation.
Is the company already VAT registered and what does that mean for me?
Some of our companies are already VAT payers, so you can invoice with VAT immediately. Applying for VAT on a new company takes weeks and is not guaranteed — which is why VAT-registered companies cost more.
When can I start acting for the company and invoicing after signing?
You can act on behalf of the company as its director practically right after signing. The change of shareholder and director in the Commercial Register takes about 10 business days and is only of informative nature.
Does the company have a bank account and when can I actually use it?
Many of our companies already have an account (usually ČSOB or VÚB). Approval of an account is always up to the bank, and it may also reject you as a client. For foreign persons the process usually requires two visits to the bank and takes 1 to 14 days; after the transfer the bank changes the authorised persons and sets up your access rights.
What is the Slovak electronic mailbox (Slovensko.sk) and who manages it?
Every company is automatically assigned a mandatory electronic mailbox through which authorities and courts communicate with it. A foreign director needs a Slovak eID with a chip to access it, or appoints a local representative. A missed official message can lead to fines — we can take this over for you.
What are the annual obligations and costs of running a Slovak company?
Every s.r.o. files annual accounts and a tax return even with no activity; VAT payers also submit regular VAT returns. Add bookkeeping and maintaining the registered office. We will walk you through the expected costs and deadlines in advance so you avoid penalties.
Do I need a Slovak registered office and can you provide it?
Yes. Every s.r.o. must have a registered office entered in the Commercial Register — it is a legal requirement and the address where official mail is delivered. We can provide a registered (virtual) office, including the property owner’s officially certified consent, which has been mandatory since 1 October 2020.
More questions and answers
What does a registered (virtual) office legally cover — and what not?
You get an address that can be entered in the Commercial Register and a place for delivery of official correspondence, plus optional services depending on the package (nameplate, notifications, forwarding, scanning). It is not premises or an office — Slovak law does not define the term “virtual office” as such.
Can a foreign company (holding) be the buyer or shareholder?
Yes. A foreign legal entity can be a shareholder. You will need an apostilled (or superlegalised) extract from its commercial register and a sworn translation into Slovak, plus proof that the signing person is authorised to act for the company.
What do IČO, DIČ and IČ DPH mean?
IČO is the company ID number from the Commercial Register, DIČ is the tax identification number, and IČ DPH is the EU VAT number (in the form SK…). Having a DIČ does not mean you are VAT registered — that is a separate process.
Can I change the name of the company I am buying?
Yes, the change of company name is included in the price and we adjust it to your wishes during the transfer.
Can you expand or add business activities?
Free and common business activities are usually added within the price of the company. Regulated or licensed trades with special conditions may carry an extra fee — we always tell you in advance.
Is the change of ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) included?
Yes, we arrange the registration of the new ultimate beneficial owner during the transfer.
How is it ensured that the company has no hidden liabilities?
Every company is vetted before it enters our offer. In the transfer documentation we provide representations and warranties by the seller of the ownership stake, with liability for any damage, so you take over a company with a clean history and no liabilities.
I have an execution (seizure) or tax arrears — can I be a shareholder or director?
Statutory restrictions apply to Slovak debtors (for example being listed in the register of tax debtors or in the register of execution authorisations). The restriction based on the execution register does not apply to foreign persons. We can assess your specific situation in advance.
Can the company’s registered office be in an apartment?
Yes, if you have a relationship to the property or the written consent of its owner. Since 1 October 2020 the owner’s signature on the consent must be officially certified (a qualified electronic signature is also acceptable).
Do I have to pay the tax license (minimum tax)?
Yes. A Slovak s.r.o. pays a minimum tax (tax license) based on turnover, from EUR 340 per year, even with no profit. Newly established companies are exempt in their first year.
How can I start as a VAT payer as fast as possible?
The fastest route is buying a ready-made company that is already a VAT payer — you skip your own registration, which takes weeks and is not guaranteed.
Can you help open an account if the company does not have one?
Yes, we can provide a service and assistance with opening an account, including preparing the documents and communicating with the bank. The final decision on opening the account, however, always rests with the bank.
How long until the change appears in the Commercial Register?
The change of shareholder and director usually takes around 10 business days. It is only of informative nature — you can act for the company from the moment you sign the documents.
Isn’t buying a ready-made company a legal grey zone?
No. It is a standard transfer of an ownership stake under the Commercial Code — an everyday instrument Slovak law has always recognised. You are buying a real, properly incorporated company, not a fiction.
What is the risk if I neglect the mailbox or filings?
Missed official messages or unfiled returns can lead to fines, blocked operations, or overlooked court and tax notices. That is why we can take over monitoring the mailbox and your accounting obligations.
What do I have to arrange after the transfer?
Usually nothing extra on your own — we file the changes in the Commercial Register and can also cover the registered office, accounting and opening an account. We remain available to you after the transfer.
